One New Everyday Girl - Toya

Reputation is very important when you do foot shoots. Its also very important in other walks of life, of course. But then not all walks of life seem weird, creep people out, or are taboo. The way I met our newest everyday girl, Toya, was thanks to a fan of mine and a couple of beautiful girls I recently shot.

Toya was busy at work, and I couldn't find a good way to get to her to tell her about the shoot. So guess who ended up being my mouthpiece? A fan of mine! He knew Toya, was cool with her, and had already made his affection for feet known to her a while ago. It all sounded too good to be true. Although Toya loved her feet and received compliments on them, she was skeptical about the shoot until she did her "investigating" through Lakeisha and Jody. After she saw their photos and heard firsthand about their shoots, she was up for it.

Its always great when girls have really cool friends, or just girls they know, tell them about the shoot, and they want to do one too. Its great to have a fan who can articulate the shoot to a girl. So now you understand the reason reputation is very important when you do foot shoots. Very good things can happen if people speak highly of you, what you do, and how you do it. Reputation is very important in all walks of life.

One New Everyday Girl - Rachel

This is an update that is a surprise, even for me. Why? Because I never saw it coming. The way I met our newest everyday girl, Rachel, was thanks to her friend Jody. Its always great when girls have really cool friends, tell them about the shoot, and they want to do one too.

Rachel dropped Jody off for her shoot [I think]. All I know is Jody came over, and said her friend [and unnamed Rachel] was across the street. I figured her friend had no interest in the shoot, Jody felt comfortable coming alone, or her friend wasn't a good candidate for a shoot so she didn't tell her about it. I was surprised when I received two calls from a name and number I didn't recognize. Being polite, I sent a text to see if the person called me by mistake. Well, it was no mistake, because Rachel called again, and that was the start of things.

Jody is such a mischief maker! She didn't tell me about Rachel. I like surprises though, and this was a very good one. It amused Rachel that I wanted her to bring her most worn shoes, skip a pedicure, and come before she went to get her hair done. I told her it was about realism, then she understood.

Jody told me Rachel was "bold", after she showed me her pics. Rachel's clothes, nails, and hair said it all. They said she was doing her own thing, be her own person, and wasn't going to let what others thought affect her. She and Jody are definitely good friends because they have that in common, have excellent camera presence, even shoe and foot similarities. As a result of Rachel's personality, we had a fun shoot. She said as soon as she returns from her vacation, she will come back again!
